Hana Sawada, Yukihiro Yamagami | Flowing Scenes, Drifting Gazes

Kyoto Seika University Satellite Space Demachi is a satellite space of Kyoto Seika University located on the 2nd floor of the Keihan Demachiyanagi Building, which is adjacent to Eizan Railway Demachiyanagi Station. Eizan Railway Demachiyanagi Station is the first station on the Eizan Main Line and Kurama Line, and is also a place where many people come and go for commuting to work, school, sightseeing, etc. from various areas. In this exhibition, under the theme of "passing", we focus on two artists from Kyoto Seika University, Yukihiro Yamagami and Hana Sawada. Yamagami superimposes monochrome paintings and video projections to create a transition between light and time. Sawada pays attention to phenomena such as misreading and misunderstanding of words and images, and expresses the infinite possibilities of interpretation as his work.
