This exhibition “Nagisa of forest” exhibit interactive arts with the unique devices. Slime mold is a mysterious creature that is similar to microbes and fungi. It can move around like amoebas in the forest and spread own habitat by release spores like mushrooms. Slime mold is located “border of creatures”. At this exhibition, the image of slime mold is switched according to the number of spectators. “Nagisa” means edge of the sea in Japanese. It is a border of sea and land. There is a place that various things gather. Many living creatures, dead creatures, Natural objects and Artificial objects. Border including smaller borders like this. Spectators can display various drifting objects on a miniature garden that imitates a sandy beach. This miniature garden is a device for controlling video works.
